There is no joining fee.
The club year 2026/2027 runs from 1st March 2026 to 28th February 2027.
The rates shown for 2026/2027 were confirmed at the AGM held in February 2025.
For the full year 2026/2027, if membership is paid before 1st March 2026, the annual adult rate is £80.
Thereafter, an adult may join for the remainder of the year at a rate of £7 per month.
On this basis, a new adult joining during May 2025 will pay for 10 months membership at £7 per month, giving a total of £70.Junior Rates:
A Junior is defined as a person who has not turned 18 as of the 1st March 2026. Therefore, someone whose 18th birthday falls during the club year 2026/2027 will be eligible for junior rates. For the full year 2026/2027, Junior membership is FREE.

Existing (Renewing) Members
For existing members: the rejoining fee for adults is £80 and for juniors, membership is FREE.
All memberships expire at the end of the club year (the next club year starts on 1st March 2026).
Important
This pro-rata basis is only available to new members and members rejoining after being non members for at least the previous 12 months.
New Members
A “new member” is one who either has never joined our club OR has allowed his membership to lapse for a period of 12 months or more.
New members join on a three-month probationary basis. This means that, after three months of membership, the Committee will decide whether the new member will be allowed to continue in membership or not. If you fall into this category and after three months the Committee decides that you may not become a full member, then you will receive a refunud of the portion of the year for which you will no longer be a member.
For example, suppose a new member pays on 1st March 2026 for a full year.
If, after that time, his membership is not approved then the member will receive a refund of £63, which covers the remainder of the club year.
BMFA fees for 2026
Senior £49.00 plus £10.00 for CAA registration
Junior £20.00 plus £10.00 for CAA registration
Family Partner – £30.00
Family Junior – £15.00
BMFA membership runs from 1st January to 31st December.
